About Timothy Bible Class

Ministry Vision:  

To have a full-time, world-wide ministry of teaching and preaching the Word of God via the World-wide Web.  I believe that this ministry would fulfill the calling of God upon my life  based upon II Timothy 4:2 "Preach the Word; be instant in season, out of season; ...".  and verse 5 of the same chapter, "...do the work of an evangelist, ...". 

Believing that the internet is the growing means of communication, and that I can use it to fulfill my calling and command to "Go.." (reach the world).  I believe that I can go 1) Further, 2) Faster, 3)  more Frequently, 4) more Faithfully, 5) more Fully, and 6) perhaps more Feasibly financially than any other means.

Ministry Purpose:  

To use the internet to carry out my responsibility to the great commission given by my Lord in Matthew 28:19-20.  These verses declare the purpose for this ministry in three specific ways:  1)  '...teach all nations..." (Explain the scripture so that people everywhere can have the opportunity to know the Lord Jesus Christ), 2) "...baptizing them..." (lead them into obedience in baptism and identification with a local Church), and 3) "Teaching them to observe all things  whatsoever I have commanded you:..." (continue to help them mature in Christ).

Ministry Goal:  

As I sit here with only the very smallest idea of what the Lord will do through this ministry, I pray that the following goals (or more) would be accomplished:

A regular radio broadcast with the main goal of seeing others come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior.
A website with access to audio/video material that could encompass Sunday School lessons, Bible reading, Bible Institute courses, Daily Devotionals, Bible study helps, and perhaps much more.
Establish a non-profit ministry organization that will enable me to have a platform to serve the Lord during my remaining lifetime, and potentially beyond.
